“I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe.” These words are synonymous with the murder of George Floyd and became the catalyst for protest marches, and civil unrest headed, by ‘Black Lives Matter’ in 2020.
The skirmishes with the police called into question, police- accountability and the excessive use of force towards some in the black community.
